FOL 2026-2027 OFFICER NOMINATIONS

*The following information is being communicated in compliance with the FOL Bylaws and in advance of the FOL Annual Meeting to be held on July 15.

Vice Chair

Chuck Tanner

Prior to retiring, Chuck was an engineering manager in the oil business all over the world, including one role managing the Barnett Shale gas wells, many of which are in and around Robson ranch.

Chuck has always been an avid reader and local library devotee. His favorite genres are historical fiction and mysteries, but he also includes a healthy dose of nonfiction, including biographies, history, politics, and travel.

Chuck and his wife moved to Robson in 2025 from Edmond, Oklahoma. They loved Edmond, but love their nine grandchildren, all Texans, even more. After moving to Robson, Chuck joined the Friends of the Library within the first few months. He trained as a RR Library volunteer before the end of 2025 and has been "subbing" as a volunteer since January 2026.

Treasurer

Richard Kushmaul

Richard's professional career was in product design and team management in product development.

As a volunteer, Richard has held various roles including on a church board, community chorus, Toastmasters, Robson Ranch Democratic Club and the Denton Poets' Assembly. He is proficient with MS Office Tools including Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel. He prefers to be organized and timely in producing outcomes in any role. Although he has not served in the capacity of Treasurer in any volunteer role, he looks forward to working in a new discipline while providing service to the Friends of the Library Club.

Richard's primary interest is to support his wife's dedication to the Robson Ranch Library, where she serves as a Library Subcommittee member, and as she is a retired librarian, she serves as a member of the Collections Committee. Richard believes the Friends of the Library Club plays an important role in our community by supporting the RR library and strengthening the contribution to the intellectual and literary quality of life at Robson.
