FOL Officer Nominations Open Friday, May 1 through Friday, June 5

The Friends of the Library Officer Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for individuals to serve in officer positions during the fiscal year July 2026 through June 2027.  Interested candidates should be members of the Friends of the Library, users of the Robson Ranch library, and be passionate about supporting the library through the Friends of the Library, a 501c3,  non-profit club.

Two positions are to be elected during our annual meeting in July 2026.  Both the vice chair and treasurer positions are up for election. 

Duties of the officers are as follows:

The vice chair shall assume the duties of the chair when the chair is absent and shall fulfill the unexpired term of that office if it becomes vacant.  The vice chair shall be the primary point of contact for communication with the Robson Ranch community.  The vice chair shall serve on at least one subcommittee annually.

The treasurer shall collect all funds for the FOL-RR and disburse the funds in accordance with the leadership’s documented decisions.  The treasurer shall prepare and submit an annual financial report of the fiscal conditions of the FOL-RR to the membership at an annual meeting to include a statement of receipts and disbursements.  The treasurer shall file IRS reports to ensure compliance with 501c3 guidelines.  The treasurer shall provide interim reports to leadership at regularly scheduled meetings.
